Our Projects

  • Shiksha by Sudiksha Sudiksha Foundation has initiated 87 Education Camps in urban settlements, serving as a temporary solution to provide education to laboring children. These camps offer educational services until community leaders can effectively advocate for more permanent solutions. In addition to providing education, the foundation recognizes the importance of community involvement in monitoring and enhancing the quality of education. Leveraging the Right to Education Act (RTE), Sudiksha Foundation aims to improve both participation and the standard of education.

  • Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation Sudiksha Foundation has demonstrated that peace and reconciliation are achievable objectives. It actively counters the politics of hatred at the grassroots level by promoting a message of peace and embracing diversity. The foundation firmly believes that peace cannot exist without justice. Through initiatives such as integrating children from diverse religious backgrounds and implementing peace education modules for youth and the wider community, Sudiksha Foundation works towards breaking the longstanding communal segregation. The foundation emphasizes constant mutual engagement and the pursuit of common interests as fundamental principles for fostering peace.

  • Livelihoods and Vocational Training Recognizing the importance of sustainable livelihoods, Sudiksha Foundation focuses on empowering the working poor from various occupations to enhance their income-generating capacity. The foundation has successfully provided vocational training to over 300 youth from marginalized urban and rural communities. A novel approach has been adopted where trainees are linked with livelihood options through professional placements instead of establishing dedicated workshops. Trainees attend theory classes conducted by technical professionals from their respective placements at a common center for two days per month.

  • Community-led Advocacy Sudiksha Foundation adopts a community-based approach to advocate for the rights of displaced communities, enabling them to assert their citizenship rights. Advocacy efforts are facilitated through two Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) supported by Sudiksha Foundation. These organizations serve as platforms for marginalized communities to voice their concerns and demand equitable treatment and opportunities.
